Overview

Lifecycles Wellness is holistic healthcare clinic located in Toronto specializing in women’s health with a focus on gynecological, obstetric and fertility issues. A logo was needed that incorporated imagery related to women’s health and fertility while emphasizing the concept of “wholeness” and holistic heath.

Approach

Many concepts were presented and refined down to an abstract logo using circular curved shapes to represent the feminine aspect. A yellow dot within the circle represents two aspects: new life within a womb (inside the curved belly shape within the circle) and new beginnings in nature/naturopathic medicine (seen as a seed within a leaf shape). An energetic brush stroke style of line was used to draw the shapes also representing a focus on traditional Chinese medicine.
