City of Victoria Strategic Plan

Overview

The City of Victoria’s 2007-2009 Strategic plan is an 18 page document which outlines the City’s primary objectives, strategies and performance measurements and is used to guide operations and demonstrate accountability. The highlight of the plan were the five main goals sections which needed to be presented in a clean and organized way to give quick visual overview of information.

Approach

The look of the report focused on the beautiful scenery and setting of Victoria and reflected the documents vision of  “the most livable city in Canada”. A visual overview of the goals was presented in photos along the top and side of each section – using a different color for each goal to help separate and easily identify the information. Flowing curved shapes helped add interest to the pages and were used to break up the information and give consistency with graphic shape.
